Southern Cross Civil delivered early structural works for a new commercial tower in the heart of the Melbourne CBD. Working within strict noise and working-hour limitations, the team completed foundation underpinning, core wall construction and suspended slab pours across a tightly staged program.

Scope

• Approx. 1,400 m² of suspended concrete slab
• Over 600 m³ of structural concrete placed
• 60t of steel reinforcement fixed
• Core walls and concrete columns to level 4
• Staged works to maintain adjacent road and pedestrian access
