Southern Cross Civil offers a full suite of civil and specialised construction services to commercial builders, developers and government clients across the Greater Melbourne region.

Structural Concrete & Formwork

Suspended concrete slabs, bondeck ground slabs, concrete columns, core walls and structural formwork. We regularly place several hundred cubic metres of concrete on staged CBD projects, coordinating pours with head contractors to maintain program and site access.

Bulk & Detailed Excavation

From rural pad preparation to detailed excavation on constrained inner-city sites. Our fleet handles bulk earthworks, subgrade improvement, crushed rock placement and site preparation, backed by experienced, highly trained operators.

Environmental Remediation

Underpinning, tank removal and contaminated soil management on heritage and brownfield sites. We manage Category B contaminated soil, on-site farming and disposal in accordance with EPA Victoria requirements.

Pavements, Kerbing & Drainage

Asphalt paving, kerb and channel, crossovers, stormwater and drainage infrastructure, linemarking, and upgrades to surrounding council footpaths — delivered as complete external works packages.

Structural Strengthening

Foundation underpinning, slab reinstatements and infills, and structural remediation to existing infrastructure within live and heritage-listed environments.
